| For those of you who have never heard of it, I HIGHLY recommend checking out www.pandora.com. This great site lets you select one of your favorite bands or songs, then plays songs for you based off that. You then tell it whether you like the songs played or not, to further customize your listening experience. Here's what I've been listening to:

In other news, things have been hella busy. I have to go with the Army this weekend, and hopefully things will calm down after that.
| Its official, I'm now living with Danny Gros. A difficult decision it was, to move out of my Mom's. But it was time to move on. With my Grandma gone, it was not a necessity to have me around anymore. My brother's girlfriend got kicked out of her house, so they were both staying there as well. It was just too crowded. I feel it was the best decision I could have made, giving my brother the room he needs and allowing me a better place to live, smoke-free. Plus, Danny is a great guy and we get along well. I really do love my new room, but will it be worth giving up my old one for? Anyone who knows me knows how special that room is/was to me. So many memories....but when it comes down to it, do we really need things to keep our memories alive? No.....but they sure do help..... | | |
| To say the least, its been a rough month. School has been going well and I am very satisfied with my progress so far. I had to do four days of service with the Army this month, so that basically ate up all my time off work at Wal-Mart. I was doing some work for Tech Support Services earlier this month but had to lay off because I just didn't have the time. Now as Christmas day approaches I am getting a little more time to myself. Very much needed.... My brother is home for the next week or so, and I am very glad. This will be the first Christmas we spend together in almost seven years. I'm very lucky to have him and my Mom, but trust me I am seriously missing my Maw-Maw... I hope everyone reading this is doing well and having a great holiday season. Take care and God Bless. | | |
| Well, my first day of school is now over! For those of you who don't know, I am now currently attending ITT Technical Institute in St. Rose, LA (by the New Orleans Airport). The school is great, my class schedule isn't too bad, and I am once again on my way to a degree. Its not easy my friends, getting up at 6am every day and now, 15 minutes to midnight, about to go to sleep.
But, when that final day comes, when I'm on stage, and they hand me my degree, it will have all been worth it. All the long hours, my 8-years of service in the Army, all the long drives to school -- EVERYTHING. Because I made a promise to myself, that I would get a college degree. And I don't break promises.
| In the words of Adult Swim:
ITS BEEN A HELLISH WEEK.
But fortunately that is coming to a close, hopefully. My main
computer (the "server") has been down. I had a hard drive
failure, that also burned up my motherboard. Fortunately I had
two hard disks, so I ordered another motherboard (my Brother bought me
a new hard drive too!). Well the motherboard came in Friday
evening, and last night I hooked it all up -- just to discover they
sent me a bad motherboard. That is depressing...so I gotta send
it back tomorrow and wait for a new one. I forgot how slow my
laptop really is....
Tomorrow I go to school to try and test out of some classes. I'm
hoping for good results. The more classes I test out of, the
faster I get my degree.
Work has totally sucked lately. Everyone is being mean and the
customers have a case of the STOOPID. I took a part time job
working for my good friend Mr. Greg doing PC repair. Its not a
steady job, just whenever he needs help -- but he is paying me
WELL. Alot more than my current job. So when I go to work
at the store, I really feel under-appreciated. Working for Mr.
Greg is a great opportunity for me; I offered to do it for free, just
as a learning experience. But he is a great guy and insists on
paying me (not that I mind).
I'm really sad and lonely right now, but hopefully that will clear
up. I have the next two days off from the store; tests tomorrow
morning, and then a little job with Mr. Greg on Tuesday evening.
And Brady is down too!!!! Time for some music, hopefully.
