| Last night was my College Math 2 final exam, and I can honestly say it was the hardest exam I've ever taken in my life. There were only 30 questions. I'm pretty sure I got 20 of them right, no problem. But those last 10....I felt like a child trying to fly a space shuttle. In all reality it doesn't matter; I went into this test with a 99 A in the class. So even if I would have NOT taken the test, I'd have either a low B or a C for the semester (still passing). But you know me, I have to be on the top. So I studied and tried hard, and overall I feel I did pretty well on the exam. But I won't know until I get my grades in later this week.
Sooooooo....this semester is over now (finally!) and I can get some much needed rest and relaxation, since I am off work this weekend! But of course, I'm up at 5:30 am when I should be sleeping in......
Anyways, here's wishing all my wonderful friends a great weekend!
| It certainly has been awhile since I've posted on here. Things are, to say the least, extremely busy. School is always keeping me occupied, as I drive on to attain that perfect average (my current GPA is 3.92). Work at Wal-Mart has become a chore, and I have been seeking employment elsewhere. This week I went on a job interview at a local ISP, and I'm waiting to hear back from them as to whether I got the position of Network Technician. Things are still the same in the Army, but with my ETS date coming up in February (when I get out) I have to make some tough decisions. Do I want to re-enlist, or just get out? Part of me wants to stay in, but a good part of me wants out too.
Anyways, just dropping by to say hello, and hope all is well for everyone out here in Xanga-Land!
| For some time now I've been wanting to start my own web-based business. Today, just now, I've come up with an EXCELLENT idea on what to do. This is going to be good folks. I'll just need some time to code up the site, so stay tuned... | | |
| Its Sunday evening and I'm relaxing after a long day with the Army. Things went well there--I got to work with SFC Perez and we had a great time. Every year we are required to do 3 weeks of Annual Training. They let us split it up a week at a time. Since I was on school break this week I went, and we had our regular monthly weekend drill also. It was a good break from the norm, but I'm ready to get back to school. | | |
| Yes that's correct, I am officially finished with my first quarter at ITT Technical College! Final grades are not in yet but I am expecting high marks. At ITT, school goes on year-round, and the year is divided into 4 quarters, unlike a traditional college. I plan to take classes year-round to further drop the time it will take for me to get my degree. It feels REALLY good to be in school and making progress towards my goal of attaining a degree. | | |
